Saint Ravidas by Manish Kumar

Ravidas was born in the year 1433 in a Dalit family of Mandur Village near Varanasi on the day of full-moon in the month of Magha. Since he was born on Sunday (Ravivar), he came to be called Ravidas.
His father was known by the name of Raghava. He was popularly called Raghu. His mother’s name was Ghurbiniya Devi. People also called her Karama Devi. Ravidas was a devoted son to his parents.
